JAKARTA - Face-to-face services for families of visitors to correctional inmates (WBP) or inmates of Class 1A Central Jakarta Detention Center or Salemba Detention Center are still open on Sunday, April 23. Today is the last limit for visits for nuclear families who will meet with WBPs. Head of the Class 1A detention center in Central Jakarta, Fauzi Harahap, said the visit service was enforced for 2 days on the first and second Eid holidays which fell on Saturdays and Sundays. Visiting families are allowed to bring ketupat and lontong vegetables typical of Eid, but the amount of food will be limited. "There are no restrictions on visiting registrants. However, visits only apply to the nuclear family, namely brothers, sisters, wives, children and parents. For uncles and aunts, they can't temporarily," said Fauzi when confirmed by reporters, Sunday, April 23. Fauzi said there were no restrictions on visitor quotas per day. However, restrictions are only made during registration hours. "Registration of visitors starts at nine in the morning until eleven in the afternoon. Then at eleven and thirty, the families who have registered have started to be able to visit. Every 1 family who visits can have a duration of 30 minutes," he said. The registration of visitors is opened through an online and offline system. The offline registration system is still in effect because not all people can understand through the online list because it is still in the socialization stage. "If all people will understand the registration of visits online, then everything will be implemented online," he said. Based on incoming data, the family who registered for the visit was 407 people per family with a total of 3268 visitors. So each family who registered contained 4 people to 5 people. "Because according to the rules per family who visit only 8 people. On average, there are 4 families visiting," he said. Meanwhile, regarding security, correctional officers who were on guard during the Eid holiday reached 120 personnel. Correctional officers were also assisted by other law enforcement officers, namely 3 members of the National Police, 3 members of the TNI and 5 firefighters.
