After Homecoming At Senen Station, PDIP: The Train Is Now Much Better

PDI Perjuangan dispatched travelers from Pasar Senen Station today, Tuesday, April 18. Hundreds of these people were transported by Kertajaya Train by taking the Jakarta-Semarang-Surabaya route.

When releasing the travelers, PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto appreciated the train transportation mode which continues to make improvements in the era of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) administration. There is no more jostling and comfort of carriages maintained.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the current train compared to the past has improved very much. Currently the carriage is clean, cold, and fragrant. It is no longer urgent," said Hasto while giving gifts to travelers whose departures were facilitated by PDIP at Senen Station, Jakarta, Tuesday, April 18.

PDIP said the homecoming program was carried out as an effort to help the government make this year's homecoming program a success. Later, they will also organize similar activities for travelers who want to return to Jakarta.

Prior to its implementation, PDIP had also confirmed that there was a green light given by the government for the implementation of the homecoming habit ahead of Eid al-Fitr. "We are waiting for the green light from the government that in the end this homecoming can be done en masse," he said.

"Finally, after fighting, we got nine carriages and have been paid in mutual cooperation with party cadres," continued Hasto.

Furthermore, Hasto said that this joint homecoming activity was also an appreciation for President Jokowi, Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, to Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir. They are considered to be able to provide the best transportation services for the people.

After releasing the travelers who departed by train, PDIP plans to release the travelers who take the bus. There were 178 buses prepared.

"The total number of carriages is nine and the bus is 178, so the total is estimated, yes, around 9 thousand travelers," explained Hasto.

As for this activity, Hasto was accompanied by other high-ranking officials such as Deputy General Treasurer Rudianto Tjen and Chairman of the PDIP DPP Rokhmin Dahriri. Also present was the Head of the PDIP DPP Office Secretariat Yoseph Aryo Adhi Dharmo.
