The Karawang Police Traffic Unit (Satlantas) dispatched a team to sweep nail mines along arterial roads that are the homecoming route for the Karawang Regency, West Java. "This team of clean cows with nail mines has been dropped since the last few days," said Head of the Karawang Police Traffic Unit, AKP La Ode Habibi Ade Jama in Karawang, Antara, Monday, April 17. He said the team probing nail mines would continue to carry out road sweeping along the homecoming route in the Karawang area. Sweeping of nail mines is carried out starting at the Karawang-Bekasi border point to the Pantura route. According to him, sweeping nail mines, among others, aims to provide a sense of security and comfort to travelers and people who cross the Karawang arterial road. He added that his party prepared a team equipped with four-wheeled vehicles equipped with magnetic equipment to comb nails and iron on the streets. "If there are nails on the road, it often makes travelers restless," he said. Meanwhile, during the last two days of sweeping nail mines, the Karawang Police Satlantas team managed to collect quite a lot of nails, wires and the like along arterial roads. "There are about half a kilogram of nails, bolts and wires from the results of the sweep that we have held," he said. Meanwhile, the homecoming route in the Karawang area, in addition to the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, there are also arterial roads ranging from Tanjungpura (border with Bekasi) to the Pantura Gamon (border with Subang) route. In addition, there are also alternative routes or routes that are usually devoted to motorcyclists from the application road to the Cikalong area, the Pantura Karawang route.
