The landslide, which occurred on Friday at around 02.00 WITA, caused a breaking of the mall wall fan word or where children play, because the position of the building is adjacent to the slope. Reportedly, landslides also caused damage to PLN's generators, transformers, electrical panels and cubes. "It resulted in material losses, and we continue to coordinate with related parties," he said. Head of the Emergency and Logistics Division of the Central Sulawesi Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Andi Sembiring added that landslides were triggered by a fairly high intensity of rain in the area, making soil fractures weaker. "It is not yet known what urgent needs due to this incident and we continue to carry out assessments and coordinate with BPBD Poso Regency. Of course this incident causes material losses," he said.

As a result of this incident, Mall City Poso is currently temporarily closed because certain parts of the building were damaged.
