BOYOLALI - The process of evacuating vehicles involved in the Semarang Solo toll road accident, Km 487+600 is still ongoing. The police admit that they experienced problems because the average vehicle is a large type of truck.

"The problem. First the vehicle is big. So we need special handling," said Head of the Boyolali Police Traffic Unit, AKP M. Herdi Pratama when confirmed, Friday, April 14.

Herdi said that his party was forced to deploy heavy equipment in the evacuation process to make it easier to move the vehicle, which is the average big truck.

"Yes, use heavy equipment. So we need special handling, so use cranes. This can't be lifted at once, one by one," he said.

Regarding the condition of traffic flow, Herdi said that it had not run normally because there was only one lane that could be crossed by the vehicle.

"Untuk keadaan lalu lintas belum normal. YANG bisa digunakan hanya satu lajur karena masih proses evakuasi," tutupnya.

Police are still investigating the alleged fatal accident that occurred on the Semarang Solo Toll Road, Km KM 487+600, resulting in the death of 8 people.

Head of Boyolali Police Traffic Unit, AKP M. Herdi Pratama said there were three allegations in the fatal accident incident.

"It is suspected that there are three reasons. It is suspected that we are still investigating the crime scene," Herdi said when confirmed by VOI, Friday, April 14.

Herdi revealed the first assumption that it was due to overload from an iron-carrying trailer driver so that the function of the braking did not run optimally.

"The two drivers were sleepy because of their work in the early hours of the morning and the third because the brake function failed," he concluded.
