SURABAYA - Large family and co-workers deliver the body of Nam Air's co-pilot, Fadly Satriyanto, the victim of the Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 plane crash, to the final resting place. The late Fadly was buried at the Keputih Public Cemetery (TPU), Sukolilo District, Surabaya, East Java.

"Our family expresses our gratitude and apologies, if the deceased's ananda has had wrong words and deeds so far. Please forgive him," said Sumarzen Marzuki, father of the late Fadly, delivering his final remarks before the body was buried, Friday, January 15.

Marzuki also asked Fadly's friends and colleagues to contact the family if the late Fadly had debts. He hopes that the deceased will not carry burdens and be calm in his resting place.

"For anyone who feels that the deceased has debt, we ask to immediately contact the heirs, so that the deceased does not carry the burden," said Marzuki.

Fadly's departure not only left deep sorrow for the family, but also felt the airline NAM Air where the deceased worked.

"The deceased is a good person, we are very lost. Hopefully the deceased will be accepted by Allah SWT with his acts of worship, amen," said Doni, a pilot friend of the late Fadly.

SAR Operation Search SJ-182 Extended 3 Days

Kabasarnas Deputy Marshal TNI Bagus Puruhito announced the extension of the search for the Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 aircraft for the next three days.

"This afternoon it was decided that the joint SAR operation in the context of searching for or evacuating Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 victims I extended three days," said Bagus during a press conference at JICT 2 Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, quoted by Antara, Friday, January 15.

Basarnas together with the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) and related officials previously held a meeting to discuss the possibility of extending SAR operations to evacuate victims and debris from the plane that crashed on Saturday, January 9.

After considering the various possibilities and situations, Basarnas decided to extend the search and rescue operation for the next three days until Monday, 18 January.

"I repeat, I will extend it three days. That means until Monday (18/1). This means that after that we re-evaluate it and decide what to do next," said Bagus Puruhito.

Meanwhile, to focus on the search for the Sriwijaya SJ-182 aircraft on the seventh day on Friday, January 15, Basarnas Operations Director Brigadier General TNI (Mar) Rasman MS said the joint SAR team would still concentrate on evacuating victims and a cockpit voice recorder ( CVR).
