JAKARTA - The National Police's extended family mourned the death of Widi Astutik Gatot Eddy, the wife of the Deputy Chief of Police, Komjen Pol. Gatot Eddy Pramono, in Singapore, Friday, National Police Chief General Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo expressed his condolences for the sad news.

Quoted from the official Instagram account of the National Police Chief @listyosigitprabowo, the number one person in the police said that the deceased was a loving, simple, and religious woman, as well as the figure of Bhayangkari who had always been a strength and lamp for the family.

"Let us all pray that the late Husnukhatimah, accept all his deeds of worship, and get a noble place in the sight of Allah Swt.," Sigit wrote in his account, quoted from Antara.

Sigit also strengthens the bereaved family to be steadfast and sincere in facing God's test.

"To the families left behind, hopefully they will be given fortitude and sincerity, amen, rabbal alamin," wrote the Chief of Police's words on his account.

Based on the information obtained, the wife of the Deputy Chief of Police died at Farrer Park Hospital Singapore on Friday (7/4) at 15.25 local time.
