David's Family Asks Mario-Shane Trial To Be Broadcast Live, South Jakarta District Court: Yes, Like Ferdy Sambo

JAKARTA - Public Relations of the South Jakarta District Court (PN), Djuyamto spoke up regarding the request of David's family who asked for Mario Dandy and Shane Lukas' trial to be conducted live.

"For Mario's trial, it is open to the public as usual, anyone can attend, just like yesterday's trial the viral case (Ferdy Sambo), it is still with the capacity of this courtroom," Djuyamto told reporters at the South Jakarta District Court, Thursday, April 6.

Djuyamto said that the trial of Mario and Shane's case would be conducted openly. However, still following the capacity of the special courtroom for the child.

"20 includes judges, clerks, (so) at most 10 people plus the judges, clerks, then the two parties. From the prosecutor's side and the attorney's office, social workers, social guides are already inside," he said.

"So friends who want to cover (live) please coordinate later, for example, later on TV Pool, please submit the application to the chairman of the court so that it is orderly like yesterday (Ferdy Sambo trial), everyone has access to information," he continued.

On his occasion, Djuyamto ensured that the AG trial scheduled for the reading of the verdict was held on Monday, April 10, at 14.00 WIB.

Whether the defendant was present or not, he said the decision was in the defendant's advisory team.

"Regarding AG's passing, I don't know, please ask AG's adviser later because Law 61 Article 1 states that the reading of the verdict is open but the defendant's child is not obliged to attend, it can be present or not, it's up to the defendant's adviser to present it or not, please ask them," he concluded.

For information, on his Twitter account, @sekexxsuck on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 yesterday, Jonathan Latumahina posted a tweet that wanted Mario and Shane's trial to be held live. The reason is that the trial of AG's children yesterday was not conveyed in the media because it was closed.

"Yesterday's trial there were many things that were not conveyed in the media because they were closed, ranging from suspects who started to get stressed and scream in cells, flooded with tears that I had promised, attacking each other between suspects. The next trial (Mario and Shane) is live, right, they are not children," Jonathan wrote.
