Teach Parepare Died Of COVID-19, Mayor Convey Grief

MAKASSAR - The Mayor of Parepare, South Sulawesi (Sulsel), Taufan Pawe mourned the death of the Head of the Parepare Public Prosecutor's Office, Amir Syarifuddin.

This Bone-blooded man breathed his last at Wahidin Sudiro Husodo General Hospital, Makassar. Amir was undergoing treatment in hospital for the previous COVID-19.

"Yes, the deceased passed away at around 12.30, WITA. He was treated at Andi Makkaasau Hospital, then he was referred to Makassar," said Mayor of Parepare Taufan Pawe, Tuesday, January 12.

Taufan believes that the late Amir received great virtue and glory in the sight of Allah SWT. He also prayed that the K Guru Parepare family would be given strength and fortitude.

"We and our families are sorry for the death of our role model. May Allah SWT put him in the most beautiful place with believers, and may the family left behind be given patience in accepting this ordeal," said Taufan Pawe.

Taufan admitted that he really lost the figure of the leader of the Adhyaksa institution. He considered that the figure of Amir Syarifuddin is religious and nationalist. Kajari Amir Syarifuddin is remembered for his continuous performance in helping and reminding the Municipal Government of Parepare to avoid legal problems.

"He is our role model. He is kind, polite and patient. He really helps the Parepare City Government during the coordination of Forkopimda," he concluded.
