Kubu Mario Dandy's Response After The Opportunity For Restorative Justice Was Closed In Meeting

JAKARTA - Mario Dandy Satriyo's camp responded to the closed opportunity to resolve the case of persecution of David Ozora in a restorative justice (RJ) manner.

Mario Dandy's lawyer, Dolfie Rompas, said he had no problem with it. Because, it is the authority of investigators and prosecutors.

"RJ is the authority of the Police and the prosecutor's office," said Dolfie to VOI, Monday, March 20.

Closed opportunities for restorative justice for Mario Dandy because he did not meet the requirements. Moreover, David, who was a victim, was seriously injured.

However, continued Dolfie, his party still respects the ongoing legal process. His party will continue to cooperate until the persecution case is complete.

"We still respect the legal process, and believe the police will work professionally and will resolve this case," said Dolfie.

Meanwhile, the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) stated that the restorative justice opportunity for the suspect Mario Dandy had been closed.

This opportunity is closed considering that the victim's condition is still unconscious, the threat of punishment is more than the maximum limit of restorative justice. Moreover, the public prosecutor can give severe punishment for the heinous acts that have been committed.

"For the suspects Mario Dandy Satriyo and Shane Lukas Rotua Pangodian Lumbantoruan, there is a closed opportunity to be given a termination of prosecution through RJ," said Head of Jakarta Attorney General's Office Ade Sofyansyah.
