PAPUA - Commander of Korem 172/PWY Brigadier General J.O. Sembiring hopes that residents will participate in securing President Joko Widodo (Jokowi)'s visit to Bumi Cenderawasih. This visit is very useful and has a positive impact on the Land of Papua. Danrem as Commander of the Regional Security Task Force (Dansatgas Pamwil) said that President Jokowi's visit to Papua had repeatedly been during his leadership. "President Jokowi's visit certainly has a positive impact in the context of empowering the Papuan people and improving infrastructure," he said in Jayapura, Antara, Sunday, March 19. According to Sembiring, his party believes this visit is also part of the President's great commitment to devoteing his attention to realizing peace, peace and improving welfare in Papua. "For the visit agenda, President Jokowi will review the location of the corn barn as a National Food Security program in Keerom Regency, then inaugurate the Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH) building," he said. He explained that besides that, the President will also conduct video conferences with other youths from several regencies that have now opened businesses such as pig farms, fish and agricultural businesses. "This business has been carried out which was initiated by the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) and in the field collaborated with the TNI-Polri from the Polda to the Polsek as well as the Kodam to the Koramil level," he said again. He added that for this reason his party has alerted 3,600 joint TNI-Polri personnel in securing President Jokowi's visit to three regencies in Cenderawasih Earth.
