JAKARTA - Acting (Plt) General Chairperson (Ketum) of the United Development Party (PPP) M Mardiono asked cadres as well as regional heads to maintain the sovereignty of the people. "As a PPP cadre, you must maintain the political muruah of PPP and must maintain the mandate of sovereignty for the people," he said in a written statement, Sunday, March 19, confiscated by Antara. This affirmation was conveyed by Mardiono to the Regent of Situbondo, Karna Suswandi. on that occasion, Mardiono also stated that he had listened to a report from the Regent of Situbondo regarding a number of poverty alleviation and food security programs. He gave an example, the poverty alleviation and food security program, including the superior seed program that produces faster harvests, which is four times a year. "I am very proud to have cadres who have succeeded in communicating for the nation, especially Situbondo Regency," he emphasized. Mardiono then advised Karna to continue working to improve services to the people of Situbondo and regain people's trust. Meanwhile, Karna admitted that he was happy to be able to stay in touch with the leadership of the party bearing the symbol of the Kaaba in joint dinner activities before the commemoration of 1 Century NU and the 50th Golden Birthday of PPP in Situbondo. He admitted that the superior seed program he is currently running is dedicated to Indonesia which is in line with the position of Muhamad Mardiono. "Many programs that Alhamdulillah corresponds to the position of Mr. Plt Ketum, in order to reduce poverty and food security. We made this superior seed program from Situbondo to Indonesia," he said.
