Megawati And Menpan RB Attend National Village Day Commemoration At GBK

JAKARTA - The 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia Megawati Soekarnoputri and a number of figures attended the nineth anniversary of the Constitution Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages or Village Law in East Parking Senayan, Gelora Bung Karno (GBK), Jakarta, Sunday 19 March.

Based on observations at the location, a number of other figures who attended the event included the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB) Abdullah Azwar Anas, Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Tito Karnavian. Furthermore, East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa, and Head of the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP) Yudian Wahyudi.

Megawati's presence, who is also the Chair of the BPIP Steering Committee, was warmly welcomed by thousands of village heads from all over Indonesia who attended the event.

For this remarks, Megawati greeted the village heads by waving from the stage.

"Mrs. Megawati, I love you, ma'am," said one of the village heads (kades) who was greeted with a smile by Megawati.

Megawati is scheduled to provide a briefing at the nine-year anniversary of the Village Law which carries the theme "Building Indonesia from the Village".

Previously, the event was opened with the appearance of the Jakarta Meriah Dance Studio which carried the theme of the archipelago culture. At the location, it was also seen that Imam Istiqlal Mosque Jakarta Nasaruddin Umar, Chairman of the PDI-P DPP Eriko Sotarduga, and PDI-P politician Budiman Sudjatmiko were also present at the event.
