KPK Asks East Jakarta Intermediate KPP To Explain The Chronology Of Share Ownership In Rafael Alun's Wife's Company

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) explored several things when clarifying the assets of the Head of the East Jakarta Intermediate Tax Service Office (KPP) Wahono Saputro on Tuesday, March 14. One of them is looking for his wife's share ownership in the wife company of former Ministry of Finance's Directorate General of Taxes (Kemenkeu) Rafael Alun. "KPK asked Wahono's explanation regarding the chronology of his wife's participation in ownership in two companies owned by the wife of Rafael Alun Trisambodo's brother," Acting KPK Spokesperson for Prevention Ipi Maryati told reporters, Friday, March 17. Furthermore, the share ownership was again investigated by investigators on Thursday, March 16. However, Ipi did not specify the results of the investigation because this process had to be carried out behind closed doors. "KPK will continue to deepen the information it conveys in the clarification," he said. As previously reported, Wahono yesterday, Thursday, March 16, showed his nose at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta. He appears to be in a red circle which means being a related party in an effort to investigate allegations of corruption. However, Wahono did not say anything after completing the examination. He chose to take a thousand steps without explaining why his wife had shares in Rafael's company. For information, the KPK conducted an investigation regarding Rafael Alun's jumbo property which was uncovered after his son, Mario Dandy, abused a 17-year-old student, David. The investigation was carried out because it was suspected that there was a game behind the ownership of a wealth of Rp56 billion. Most recently, the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) has blocked Rafael's safe deposit in a bank amounting to billions of rupiah. It is suspected that this money came from accepting bribes.
