96 Percent Of Job Finders Claimed To Be Satisfied With Fund Assistance And Pre-Employment Card Program Training

JAKARTA - The Implementing Management of the Pre-Employment Card Program said that according to a 96 percent study, 96 percent of participants were satisfied with the quality of training and distribution of financial assistance in the Pre-Employment Card Program.

"This is based on a study from TNP2K (National Team for the Acceleration of Poverty Reduction) and the World Bank in 2022," said Executive Director of the Pre-Employment Card Program, Denni Purbasari, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, March 15.

According to the study, he said, as many as 96.1 percent of participants were satisfied with the quality of the training and 96.4 percent of participants were satisfied with the distribution of money assistance in the Pre-Employment Card Program.

Denni also explained the strategy implemented during the three years of the Pre-Employment Card Program, including innovation and literacy strategies in the first year (2020) as well as evaluation of the implementation in the following year.

"We are open to being evaluated by independent institutions with funds not from the Pre-Employment, we will never know whether we are on the right track (on the right track) or off track (out of lane). Thank God, the results of the evaluation are all positive," he said.

He stated that the Pre-Employment Card Program was proven to be able to increase food security, financial inclusion, work feasibility, and entrepreneurship.

"So the evaluation results show that the income of pre-employment card recipients increases by 10-21 percent per month compared to non-recipients. That is based on the evaluation results from the JPAL-SEA research institute and also Indonesian Precision," he explained.

In 2022, the third year of program implementation, Denni said, program implementers will start promoting the Pre-Employment Card Program at home and abroad.

"After we receive scientific evidence, we are confident to promote this program at home and abroad. We visited the United Nations Office to explain the Pre-Employment Card Program to UN institutions," he said.

According to him, the total budget for the implementation of the Pre-Employment Card Program for three years reached IDR 59.4 trillion and during that period the program provided benefits to 16.47 million residents.

With the value of the assistance received by each Pre-Employment Card recipient as much as Rp. 3.55 million, the program budget that has been distributed to participants is around Rp. 58 trillion.

"The remaining unabsorbed aid funds are all returned to the state's general treasury in accordance with the regulations of the Coordinating Minister for the Economy," said Denni.

Meanwhile, the operational costs of program implementers, according to him, amounted to Rp353 billion or 0.59 percent of the total budget of around Rp59 trillion.

"This is very low, there is no one percent. Even then, the Pre-Employment Card still provides non-tax state revenue (PNBP) of IDR 237.8 billion," he said.

"So, our operating costs on a net basis are only around Rp. 100 billion for three years. So it is really implemented, distributed without corruption," he added.
