JAKARTA - The Minister of Manpower, Ida Fauziyah emphasized innovation, synergy and commitment between the central and regional governments in providing labor.

"My appreciation to all service heads in charge of manpower in the regions that have contributed to comprehensive employment efforts," said Minister of Manpower Ida as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, March 15.

He conveyed that in an effort to restore the development of the labor sector in 2022, the Ministry of Manpower has gone through several achievements, including competency-based training to 146,797 people, domestic apprenticeship as many as 40,619 people, foreign apprenticeship to 14,674 people.

Fourth, revitalizing the K3 Hall and increasing community participation in employment supervision and K3 as well as increasing the implementation of non-discrimination policies in the employment sector, especially for female workers and persons with disabilities.

In its implementation, according to him, the budget for Deconcentration and Assistance is not enough to implement all active labor market policies in overcoming all problems and challenges in the employment sector.

"Therefore, I hope that the budget sourced from the APBD is also collaborated and integrated, so that it can meet various strategic targets for national labor development," said Minister of Manpower Ida.
