Medan DPRD Leaders Reject The Procurement Of Triplex Tables, Criticism Of Guci Everywhere

JAKARTA - The leadership of the Medan City DPRD, North Sumatra, has refused to provide a table made of plywood in the legislative member's office. The reason is the table material is not of high quality.

"If this is given, just look at the quality. It is fine to procure, but with quality and must be useful," said Deputy Chairman of Medan City DPRD Ihwan Ritonga in Medan quoted by Antara, Monday, January 11 evening.

Last year, his party as the head of the council asked the Medan City DPRD Secretariat to provide a table to support performance, especially in the legislative chamber.

Ihwan also criticized other procurement carried out by the council secretariat, such as jars which are building accessories, which are almost in every corner of the legislative room and even up to the plenary session room.

"What are the benefits of the jar? In the plenary room there are six, the plants are not visible. This is a random project. If I say this is not true, some even say this table is suitable for a coffee shop," he said.

His party will immediately return the table and check the procurement budget.

"We will check how much the budget is, such as the portal in front, not to mention carpets, and others," said Ihwan.

The chairman of the Medan City DPRD, Hasyim, confirmed that the leadership element strongly protested the procurement of the tables made of plywood.

"Yes, I'm just like Pak Ihwan," he said.
