Involved In A Brawl, 7 Youths In Jagakarsa Caught Carrying Marijuana And Gorilla Tobacco

JAKARTA - The South Jakarta Metro Police Precision Pioneer Patrol Team managed to arrest seven youths suspected of being involved in a brawl on Jalan Margasatwa 42, Jagakarsa District, South Jakarta. "We arrested them and immediately examined their luggage and found several suspicious objects," said South Jakarta Police Chief Kombes Pol Ade Ary Syam Indradi, in a written statement received in Jakarta, Sunday, March 12. Ade added that the suspicious evidence was in the form of two sharp weapons such as sickles and mandates, then 20 packs of marijuana and eight packs of synthetic tobacco in 5x8 centimeters. Ade explained that the incident began when members were patrolling at 03.30 - 06.30 WIB.

The routes range from the South Jakarta Police Headquarters, Langsat Park, Panglima Polim Street, Fatmawati Raya Street, Pondok Labu Raya Street, to Marga Animal Street. Traffic, the police who were on patrol saw a number of youths involved in the brawl.

"Then the patrol team secured seven youths involved in a brawl on Jalan Margasatwa," he said.

Ade explained that currently the suspects were taken to the Jagakarsa Police Station along with evidence and then an investigation was carried out. Ade also appealed to parents to supervise their children's activities outside the night break. Then Ade added that the police continue to strive to improve police activities from counseling or education (preemptive), prevention or preventive activities, to law enforcement.
