Mahfud MD Often Meets Moeldoko's Wife, Already Like A Brother

Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud MD was also present to visit the funeral home of the late Hj Koesniharningsih, wife of the Chief of Presidential Staff of the Republic of Indonesia, Moeldoko. Mahfud MD stated that he was a friend who was like a brother to Moeldoko.

"I personally and my family are here to express my condolences and pray for the good of the deceased, and of course all Indonesian people also pray for the good of the deceased in another nature," he told reporters at the funeral home location, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Sunday, March 12.

During his arrival, Mahfud MD admitted that he had really lost a mother who accompanied an important official who had helped build this country since it was young until now.

"So far, we have often met in meetings between extended families. My wife also often meets, often accompanys, with Mrs. Iriana and others. Still, fate is inevitable and we record sweet memories, bitter memories we forget," he said.

The wife of the Presidential Chief of Staff of the Republic of Indonesia Moeldoko, Hj. Koesni Harningsih (64) breathed her last at the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital, Jakarta on Sunday, March 12.

Head of RSPAD Lt. Gen. Albertus Budi Sulistya said Koesni Harningsih (64) wife of Mr. Moeldoko, the Presidential Chief of Staff, had passed away to Rahmatullah at around 04.49 WIB.

"He died in the CICU room because he was sick," said TNI Lt. Gen. Albertus when confirmed by VOI, Sunday, March 12.

Furthermore, Lt. Gen. Albertus explained, the body of the late Koesni Harningsih began to be taken from the RSPAD to the funeral home in Menteng at around 06.50 WIB.
