The search and rescue team is looking for an elderly woman (elderly) who was reported missing by the current of water while bathing on the riverbank of Suradadi Village, East Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, Thursday, March 9. Head of the Mataram SAR Office Lalu Wahyu Efendi said the victim was named Papuq Iduk, 70, who was a local villager. "It is suspected that the victim was lost in the current when the river water overflowed at around 17.00 WITA," he said in Mataram, Antara, Friday, March 10. The report on the dangerous condition of humans was received from the East Lombok SAR Unit on Thursday, March 9. Based on the report, personnel from the Kayangan SAR Post were deployed to assist the process of searching for victims. Then Wahyu said, entering the second day of the search, the joint SAR team had conducted a river sweep from the scene to the Pandan Dure Dam in Sakra District, East Lombok Regency. The joint SAR team came from Rescue Pos SAR Kayangan, TNI, Polri, East Lombok SAR Unit, local residents and other elements. "The sweeping distance that has been taken is three kilometers from the location of the first incident to the Pandan Dure Dam," he said. In addition to combing the river, he said, the use of aqua eye tools was also carried out, especially when searching the dam area. The purpose of the aqua eye is to find victims or targets underwater. "The rescue was also carried out while searching the dam according to the position shown by the aqua eye tool," said Lalu Wahyu. As of 18.00 WITA, the joint SAR team has not found the whereabouts of the victims. The search was temporarily suspended and the elements involved carried out an evaluation for the search plan on Saturday (11/3).
