Punk Children's Activities In Front Of Gas Stations Will Be Watched By Satpol PP Patrols Ahead Of Ramadan 2023

The activities of street punk children in Mataram City will be the focus of patrols by the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) in monitoring disturbances in security and public order (kamtibmas) ahead of Ramadan 2023.

Head of Mataram City Satpol PP Irwan Rahadi said that currently there are many punk boys hanging out in front of gas stations in Mataram.

He assessed that the activities of punk children in front of gas stations asking for money from residents who filled up fuel had disturbed and disturbed them.

"The presence of this punk boy is also our attention in active patrols ahead of Ramadan," said Irwan Rahadi in Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Thursday, March 9, as reported by Antara.

Irwan said that the safety of the community on the streets and the actions of begging for the perpetrators indicated to be exploited by irresponsible parties would also be monitored by his party.

"So, those who take to the streets don't want to be purely begging, but there are indications they are being exploited," he said.

Irwan said that the Mataram Satpol PP's efforts to intensify patrols ahead of Ramadan 1444 Hijri were also part of supporting social service activities in efforts to deal with people with social welfare problems (PMKS), such as street children, homeless people, beggars, punk children, buskers, and hawkers on the streets.

In addition to conducting independent patrols, Irwan said that his party would also carry out joint patrols with the TNI/Polri as well as provide socialization to business actors in the fields of services, entertainment, and culinary.

"We remind business actors to be prepared to adjust to the Mataram City Government's policies during Ramadan," he said.

For this reason, Satpol PP is currently still waiting for the ratification of regulations related to regulations for business actors in the fields of services, entertainment, and culinary during Ramadan. The regulation is currently still in the National Unity and Political Agency (Bakesbangpol) of Mataram City.

"Whether they are given an opening with a certain time limit or completely closed. Whatever regulations are passed later, we are ready to support and implement enforcement of the rules," he said.
