5 Days Kunker In Japan Completed, Vice President Returns To Indonesia

JAKARTA - Vice President (Vice President) Ma'ruf Amin left for the country, Thursday 9 March. The vice president has completed a working visit (kunker) for five days from March 5, 2023 in Japan.

The vice president returned to Indonesia using the Garuda Airbus A330 aircraft, from Kansai International Airport, Osaka, Japan at 10.50 local time to Soekarno Hatta International Airport, Cengkareng.

Based on Antara's report, the Vice President is expected to arrive in the country Thursday evening after traveling by air for seven hours.

During the five-day visit in Japan, the Vice President carried out a number of activities, including inaugurating the Osaka Istiqlal Mosque, in Osaka, Japan, then conducting a National Dialogue with the Indonesian diaspora in Japan.

The vice president also visited Kyoto, which is a sister province of the Special Region of Yogyakarta and held a dialogue about halal products with diaspora observers of halal products.

The vice president then held an audience with the Governor of Kyoto in Kyoto Guest House, as well as gave a public lecture at Kyoto University which is the second best university in Sakura Country.

The vice president also witnessed the signing of the LOI between KNEKS and Kyoto University regarding Sharia Financial Cooperation, as well as holding a meeting with the President of Kyoto University.

Present to release the Vice President and his wife back to the country, namely the Ambassador to Japan Heri Akhmadi and his wife and Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Osaka Diana Emilla Sari Sutikno and her husband.
