JAKARTA - Suspect Mario Dandy Satyo may not know if his father, Rafael Alun Trisambodo, is no longer in power as an official of the Directorate General of Taxes (Pajak). Meanwhile, Rafael is in the process of dismissal as a state civil servant (ASN) of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu). "I don't know, because he is in (prison, ed). Inside there is no communication tool," said Mario Dandy's lawyer, Dolfie Rompas, to reporters, Wednesday, March 8. Dolfie did not specify when asked by the legal team whether or not he had conveyed information about Rafael's dismissal to Mario. So far, he reasoned that he only focused on accompanying Mario in the alleged abuse case against David Ozora. "We only focus on the mentoring process related to examinations rather than investigators. So we don't take care of those things," said Dolfie. Inspector General (Irjen) of the Ministry of Finance, Awan Nurmawan Nuh, said that the process of dismissing individual tax workers on behalf of Rafael Alun Trisambodo (RAT) was still ongoing. According to him, the Inspectorate General has submitted a recommendation for dismissal of the RAT. "The recommendation letter for dismissal as an ASN has been issued and the Minister (Sri Mulyani) has approved it," said Awan. The next process is the delegation of the recommendation letter for the dismissal of the person concerned to the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Finance. On the same occasion, Secretary General of the Ministry of Finance Heru Pambudi confirmed that he had received a letter of recommendation from the Inspectorate General. "Currently in the administrative process of dismissal and fulfilling the required documents for that," he said.
