Acceptance Of Village Apparatus Sued, Kudus Regent Issues Decree On Inauguration Delay

Kudus Regent Hartopo finally issued a decree (SK) to postpone the stages of filling out village officials in several villages following a lawsuit to the Kudus District Court by a number of parties.

"We have conveyed the decree to postpone the filling of village officials dated March 3, 2023 to seven sub-district heads to be forwarded to each village registered in the decree," said Head of the Adi Sadhono Village and Community Empowerment Service Murwanto, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, March 7.

Based on the postponement decree, he said, the village head was also asked to convey to the village-level village officials filling committee and other related parties.

The issuance of the decree, he said, was due to considering village officials from 44 villages in Kudus who collaborated in organizing a screening exam for filling out village officials with Padjadjaran University (Unpad) Bandung to appoint a legal representative to submit a request to stop filling out village officials in 2022 to the Regent.

The letter submitted, he said, was on March 2, 2023, citing the implementation of the Unpad exam not carrying out its obligations properly according to the cooperation agreement (PKS).

Another consideration is to maintain regional conducivity, respect the ongoing deliberation, mediation, legal process, and legal certainty as a result of filling out village officials that carry out screening tests for filling out village officials in collaboration with Unpad.

"On these considerations, it is necessary to postpone the stages of filling out village officials, especially in 68 villages in collaboration with Unpad," he said.

Of the 68 villages, including Kaliwungu District, there are eight villages, Jati District there are three villages, Undaan District there are 13 villages, Mejobo District there are 10 villages, Jekulo District there are nine villages, Gebog District there are 10 villages and Dawe District there are 15 villages.

Based on the decree on the postponement, it was explained that the intended delay was in the form of the village head lifting the village apparatus from March 3, 2023 to April 28, 2023.

The inauguration from the beginning on March 31, 2023, will be carried out no later than April 28, 2023 and the oath/promise in front of the village head, BPD, the filling committee for village officials and community leaders was originally scheduled for a maximum of March 31, 2023, to a maximum of April 28, 2023.

In addition to the 68 villages recorded in the decree, they will continue to carry out the stages of filling village officials as stated in the Decree of the Regent of Kudus Number 141/196/2022 concerning the Granting of Permits and Determination of Village Apparatus Filling Simultaneously in Kudus Regency in 2022, as amended by the Decree of the Regent of Kudus Number 141/278/2022 concerning Amendments to Appendix II of the Decree of the Regent of Kudus Number 141/196/2022 concerning the Granting of Permits and Determination of Villages for Organizing and Schedule of Village Charging Simultaneously in Kudus Regency in 2022.

In filling the village apparatus, there were 90 villages that held village selection, and 68 villages of which collaborated with Unpad as organizers of the selection of computer-based village apparatus or computer assisted test (CAT).

Allegations of default by Unpad, during the selection test filling CAT village officials, were not showing direct value at that time or real time.
