JAKARTA - A number of orange body bags have returned to the Police Hospital, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta. This bag contains the body parts of the victims of the Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 plane that crashed in the Thousand Islands, Saturday, January 9.

Quoted from Metro TV's live broadcast at 01.38 WIB, Monday, January 11, the body bags were reportedly brought together at 23.15 WIB, Sunday, January 10. These bags were handed over from the Basarnas team at the main post to search for Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 at JICT2, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta.

Previously, the Deputy Head of the National Police Hospital, Kombes Hariyanto, said that at 21.00 WIB, Sunday, January 10, a total of 8 body bags were received containing 10 body parts of the Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 plane crash in the Thousand Islands.

The National Police's DVI team also collected anti-mortem data on victims of Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 passengers provided by their families. Antemortem data were collected from family reports received at the Police Hospital, Jakarta; Pontianak; and Surabaya, East Java.

"So in total there are 54 data, from 54 we take 39 DNA," said Kombes Hariyanto.

The latest from the search for victims and debris as well as the black box of the Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 aircraft, the turbine allegedly belonging to the Jakarta-Pontianak route has been handed over to the National Transportation Safety Committee (KNKT).

This turbine was originally lifted from the waters of the Thousand Islands and evacuated to KRI Rigel 933. Currently, the turbine is suspected of being part of the Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 plane on the Jakarta-Pontianak route, which is already at JICT2 pier, the main command post for the search for the crash of the Sriwijaya Air plane.

Meanwhile, the National Transportation Safety Committee (NTSC) has pocketed the recording of a Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 pilot with an Air Traffic Controller (ATC) officer.

"The team has also sent 2 people to collect data at Airnav Indonesia and have collected the recordings and transcripts of the conversation between the pilot and air traffic controllers. The team has also succeeded in obtaining raw data on aircraft movement radar data that will be studied, the team has interviewed air traffic officers in charge of controlling flights that have crashed, "said the Head of the NTSC Aviation Ethics Sub Committee, Nurcahyo Utomo.

Nurcahyo explained that the NTSC team was deployed in the process of investigating the Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 accident on the Jakarta-Pontianak route. There are a number of aircraft instruments that the NTSC has examined the findings of the joint SAR operation.

"The NTSC team at JICT has received several components from Basarnas, identified several aircraft instruments, namely the GPWS (Ground Proximity Warning System), radio Altimeter, emergency launching devices which will be identified from which side door because there are 4 on the plane and part of the aircraft in general. from the bottom of the tail, "he continued.

In addition, the KNKT has received offers of assistance from the Singapore authorities in searching for black boxes.
