The Minister of Transportation said that related parties had met with a number of victims' families for data collection.

Contacted separately, Director of Jasa Raharja Budi Rahardjo said that according to the provisions of the Minister of Finance Regulation Number 15 of 2017 to the deceased, compensation of IDR 50 million will be delivered to each heir according to the provisions.
"The existing compensation serves as basic protection," he said.
