The Democrats confirmed that the meeting of the Chairman of the NasDem Party, Surya Paloh and the General Chair of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo, would not interfere with the solidity of the Change Coalition. The reason is, the declaration certificate for the NasDem coalition, PKS and Democrats is ready and just waiting for the right momentum to be signed. "There is already a declaration certificate. It's just a matter of time for the declaration to wait for the right momentum and part of the strategy," said Democratic Party DPP spokesman Herzaky Mahendra Putra, Monday, March 6. In fact, Herzaky assessed that the coalition that is considered the most progressive at this time is the Coalition for Change because it has declared a presidential candidate (candidate), Anies Baswedan. "The first coalition has a presidential reading, and the first coalition to convey to the public the idea of change and improvement that we will fight for," he said. In addition, according to Herzaky, the meeting of the two political party leaders was good because it further strengthened cross-coal collaboration. In line with the Coalition for Change which is trying to build a culture of collaboration between the nation's forces. "Although there are different views in how to build this nation in the future, there are different choices of coalitions and presidential candidates, but they are still in communication and friendship. Especially fellow political parties in parliament," said Herzaky. Previously, Gerindra Party Chair Prabowo Subianto and the General Chair of the NasDem Party agreed to respect each other's differences in political decisions ahead of the 2024 General Election.
