JAKARTA - Vice President Ma’ruf Amin will be a keynote speaker and talk about religious tolerance at Kyoto University, which is Japan's second best university.

“Vice President will inaugurate a mosque in Japan, this is one of the largest mosques in Japan called the Istiqlal Mosque. This is also the pride of citizens in Japan,” explained Masduki.
During a working visit to Osaka and Kyoto, the Vice President will also hold bilateral meetings to discuss Indonesia-Japan cooperation, especially in the halal industry sector as well as Islamic economics and finance.
"(There will be) bilateral talks between the Vice President as the Government of Indonesia and several elements of government from Japan on this visit, to Osaka and to Kyoto, in those two places,” he explained.
Finally, Masduki revealed, the Vice President will also greet the Indonesian people who live in Osaka and Kyoto through dialogue forums.
