An Uncle In Aceh Besar Has The Heart To Mess With His 8 Year Old Nephew

JAKARTA - The Banda Aceh Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) arrested a teenager in Aceh Besar with the initials SY (19) for allegedly molesting an 8 year old child. Ironically, the victim was his own cousin.

"The perpetrator of SY was arrested for sexually abusing a minor. The victim is a cousin of the perpetrator himself," said Kasatreskrim Banda Aceh Police, AKP M Ryan Citra Yudha, in Banda Aceh, Sunday, January 10, as reported by Antara.

Ryan said the perpetrator carried out the action when the victim was staying at his house. This incident occurred at the end of November 2020.

Ryan said that the sexual harassment case was revealed when the victim told her grandmother when she was about to urinate.

Then the grandmother examined and asked about what happened to the victim. Ryan said that after learning about what happened to his grandson, the grandmother then made a report to the Banda Aceh Police.

"The victim's grandmother reported sexual immorality on November 29, 2020, based on the police report number LPB / 534 / XI / YAN.2.5 / 2020 / SPKT," he said.

After receiving the report, Ryan continued, his party completed the investigation file, visum et repertum to the health team and coordination of the incident that happened to the victim, until the arrest was made.

"The SY perpetrator was arrested by the PPA (women and children service) unit at his home without taking any resistance," said Ryan.

As a result of his actions, SY was charged with Article 50 in conjunction with Article 47 of Aceh Qanun (regional regulation) Number 6 of 2014 concerning the Law of Jinayat.
