20 Passenger Families Of Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 To The National Police Hospital Give Antemortem Data

JAKARTA - The Antemortem Command Post at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta has identified the first phase of the victim of the Sriwijaya Air SJ 182 plane that crashed in the waters of the Thousand Islands.

Inspector General Fadil stated that the team at the post was a collaboration of forensic experts from the National Police, the Indonesian National Armed Forces and academics from higher education who would identify victims.

The posts also receive support from government hospitals that have the ability to identify primary and secondary.

Ante Mortem identification is identification with the physical data of the victim such as name, age, weight, height, clothes and accessories worn by the last time the victim to the victim's luggage, and other possessions.

"We have taken 20 family members to the National Police hospital," said Fadil.

There were 62 passengers including the crew of the Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 aircraft. Of the total passengers, there are 7 children and 3 babies.
