KPK Suspects There Is Manipulation Of Financial Transaction Data In The Coal Transportation Corruption Case

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) suspects that there has been manipulation of financial transaction data related to corruption in the transportation of coal to BUMD of the South Sumatra Provincial Government (Pemprov). This allegation was investigated by examining 10 witnesses on Wednesday, March 1 and Thursday, March 2. "(The examination, red) took place at the Palembang Polrestabes," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Friday, March 3. Ali detailed that the witnesses examined were PT Sriwijaya Mandiri's Cauangan Manager, South Sumatra (SMS), Anugrah Pratama; PT SMS financial staff Irwan Septianto; three former employees of PT SMS Lismawati, Nadia Permatasari, and M Rizky Saputra; and former CFA Band Mandiri employee Arif Palembang Branch, Ana Zuwarmy. Furthermore, investigators also examined the President Director of PT SMS Adi Trenggana Wirabhakti and three private employees Zulkifli, M. Ari Fitriansyah, and Marice Agustini. "Witnesses were present and their knowledge was explored, among others, related to the alleged role of parties related to this case to manipulate PT SMS financial transaction data," he said. Actually, the KPK will also examine two witnesses, namely Sariyandi and Hibri Ismunandar who are private employees. It's just that they were not present. "The two witnesses were not present and were rescheduled again," Ali explained. As previously reported, the anti-corruption commission is investigating allegations of corruption in the abuse of authority in cooperation in coal transportation by BUMD in South Sumatra. However, the suspect in the case has not yet been announced. Disclosure of the suspect will be carried out when the investigation process is sufficient. The suspect will also be announced after an attempt to be detained.
