One Of The KLHK Staff Joined The Sriwijaya Air SJ 182 Plane That Crashed

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) is grieving because a staff named Rizki Wahyudi is one of the passengers on the Sriwijaya Air plane who lost contact in the waters of the Thousand Islands, Jakarta on Saturday.

Rizki Wahyudi, staff of Forest Ecosystem Control (PEH) of the Gunung Palung National Park in North Kayong Regency and Ketapang Regency in West Kalimantan.

"That's right. Please pray," said Head of the Gunung Palung National Park, Ari Wibawanto, when confirmed by Antara on Saturday night.

On a different occasion, Secretary General of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, Bambang Hendroyono, through a message application also expressed his sorrow regarding the loss of Sriwajaya Air SJY 182 on the Jakarta-Pontianak route.

In the message, he said that Rizki was a PEH who served in Gunung Palung National Park.

Rizki allegedly left for Pontianak by plane with his wife, three month old child, biological mother and a nephew.

The Sriwijaya Air plane for the Jakarta-Pontianak route lost contact, at around 14:40 WIB, as confirmed by the Director General of Air Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation Novie Riyanto.

The plane with the PK CLC registration number with the Boeing 737-500 type, lost contact at position 11 nautical miles north of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, after passing an altitude of 11,000 feet and while increasing the altitude to 13,000 feet.

The government has directed a search team consisting of the National Disbursement and Relief Agency (Basarnas), the Maritime Security Agency, the Ministry of Transportation, and various other elements.
