KPK Sends Call For Clarification To Former Head Of Yogyakarta Customs Eko Darmanto

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) sent a letter calling for clarification of the state administrator's wealth report (LHKPN) against the Head of Customs and Excise DI Yogyakarta Eko Darmanto. He is expected to fulfill the summons. "We from the leadership have asked for clarification. To the assets concerned who were reported to the LHKPN," said KPK Deputy Chair Alexander Marwata to reporters at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday, March 2. The summons was made after Eko's wealth became a public spotlight. This step, continued Alexander, had also been carried out on former Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) official Rafael Alun Trisambodo. "Yes, he followed up by clarifying. Like yesterday, we will summon the person concerned (ASN of the Ministry of Finance Rafael Alun Trisambodo)," he said. Meanwhile, KPK Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring Pahala Nainggolan said the letter had been submitted to Eko. "The summons (of summons, ed) is being investigated (sent, ed) now," he said. In detail, Eko owns a BMW sedan 2018 for IDR 850 million, a Mercedes Benz sedan 2018 worth IDR 600 million, a Jeep Willys 1944 for IDR 150 million, a Chevrolet Bell Air 1955 IDR 200 million, a Toyota Fortuner 2019 worth IDR 400 million. Then, Mazda 2019 for IDR 200 million, Fargo Dodge 1957 worth IDR 150 million, Chevrolet Apache 1957 IDR 200 million, and Ford Bronco 1972 for IDR 150 million. All of these vehicles are registered for their own results. However, no big motorbikes are registered in the LHKPN. In fact, Eko often uploads videos showing off Davidson's Harley.
