Ministry Of Transportation: People Don't Spread Information On The Names Of Fallen Sriwijaya Air Passengers

JAKARTA - After losing contact with the Sriwijaya Air SJ 182 aircraft in the waters of the Thousand Islands in the Thousand Islands today, it was discovered that the plane was carrying 56 passengers and 6 crew members.

Of the 56 passengers carried by the national airline, it was stated that 46 were adults, 7 were children and 3 were babies. Meanwhile, the flight crew consists of 2 pilots and 4 cabin crew.

The transportation authority of the Ministry of Transportation (Ministry of Transportation) emphasized that if the public finds the names of Sriwijaya Air SJ82 passengers not to expand the spread of information.

"My hope is not to share even though it's only in the WA group," said the Ministry of Transportation.

As previously reported, the Sriwijaya Air SJ 182 plane for the Jakarta-Pontianak route reportedly lost contact, on Saturday, January 9. This news was later confirmed by the Director General of Air Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) Novie Riyanto.

"There has been a lost contact with the Sriwijaya aircraft on the Jakarta-Pontianak route with the SJ 182 call sign," Novie said when confirmed by reporters, Saturday, January 9. He said the aircraft's last contact was made at 14:40 WIB.

Regarding this aircraft, based on data from flightradar24, the Sriwijaya Air plane for the Jakarta-Pontianak route departs from Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Banten at 14.36 WIB and its estimated arrival is scheduled for 15.15 WIB
