In the survey, Ganjar Pranowo received 28.8 percent of the votes from generation Z, followed by Gerindra Party Chairman Prabowo Subianto with 20.6 percent. The Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil, occupies third place with 9.1 percent of the votes, while the former Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, occupies fourth place with 8.8 percent of the votes.

In the fifth position is the former TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa with a vote of 2.1 percent, while the Chairman of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) occupies the sixth position with 1.2 percent of the votes.

However, as many as 4.7 percent of Generation Z's votes fell on other unnamed figures. In addition, 23.2 percent of Generation Z still has not decided on their choice for the presidential candidate they will choose.

The Kompas Research and Development Survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews, and samples were randomly determined through a graded systematic injection method. This survey has a 95 percent confidence level and a margin of error of around 2.83 percent.

Although this survey only represents the preference of presidential candidates from Generation Z, the results can provide an overview of who might have the support of the younger generation in the future.

Ganjar Pranowo, with considerable support from generation Z, can be a candidate that attracts attention among other presidential candidates. However, there is still a lot of time until the presidential election, and people's preferences can change along with events and issues that occur in the future.
