Director of the Special Criminal Investigation of the Aceh Police, Kombes Winardy, said the evidence was used as material for the case title to determine who the suspects were. "Investigators are still collecting evidence to strengthen allegations of corruption in the construction of a regional hospital in Central Aceh Regency. The evidence will later become material for the case title to determine the suspect," said Winardy in Banda Aceh, Antara, Tuesday, February 28. The evidence includes work documents and statements from the parties, both witnesses and experts. Including calculating state losses. Regarding the collection of state losses, investigators are still waiting for the results of the examination from the appointed auditor. "This case has been upgraded to the investigation stage. However, investigators have not determined who the suspect is. The determination of the suspect is carried out after the case," said Winardy. Meanwhile, Head of the Legal Information and Public Relations Section of the Aceh High Prosecutor's Office, Ali Rasab Lubis, said that his party had received a notification letter for the start of the investigation (SPDP) in the alleged corruption case in the construction of a regional hospital in Central Aceh Regency. "The SPDP has been received by a special criminal team from the Aceh Police investigation. Furthermore, the Aceh High Prosecutor's Office appointed prosecutors to follow the progress of the investigation of the case," said Ali Rasab Lubis. Previously, the construction of a regional hospital in Simpang Kelaping Village, Pegasing District, Central Aceh Regency, became the spotlight after the terrace collapsed on Friday (4/11/2022) evening. In fact, the hospital building has not yet been operated. For this incident, the Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation of the Aceh Police investigated the collapse of the regional hospital building. The collapse of the hospital building in its construction was allegedly not in accordance with specifications. During the investigation, the Aceh Police team also collaborated with experts in the investigation to determine technically what caused the collapse of the hospital building. The regional hospital in Central Aceh Regency was built in 2016. The budget disbursed to build a hospital in the central region of Aceh Province reached Rp152.9 billion.
