3 Regions In Bengkulu Lirik KPK Become Anti-Corruption Villages

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) conducted observations to Suban Ayam Village, Rejang Lebong Regency, Bengkulu Province. The village will be used as an anti-corruption pilot village.

Assistant I for Government, Legal, Welfare of the Rejang Lebong Regency Government, Pranoto Majid, said that the area should be proud because the region is included in one of the anti-corruption pilot village candidates in Bengkulu.

"In addition to Suban Ayam Village, Selupu Rejang District, there are also two other villages that have been observed by the KPK in South Bengkulu Regency and Seluma Regency," he said while accompanying the KPK observation team in a meeting with the people of Suban Ayam Village, Tuesday, February 28, which was confiscated by Antara.

He explained that the observation team from the KPK had also reviewed several locations in Rejang Lebong Regency in preparation for the area to rank first so that it hosted anti-corruption village gatherings throughout Indonesia.

"I ask village and sub-district officials to follow all instructions from the KPK team so that later they can be included in their assessment," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Observation Team from the Deputy for Education and Community Participation of the KPK, Firlana Ismayudin, stated that the Chicken Suban Village is one of the villages in Bengkulu Province which was proposed to become an anti-corruption pilot village in 2023.

"We will check physical evidence and digital evidence. The formation of this anti-corruption village is actually more profitable for all of them, so this will later become an anti-corruption boost and hopefully it will not only stop in Suban Ayam Village," said Firlana.

According to him, during the observation in Suban Ayam Village, his party together with a team from the Rejang Lebong Regency Government conducted an assessment which included five indicators and 18 sub indicators, then objective documentation and filing with physical and digital evidence.
