Gisel Can Go Home After Being Examined, These Are Two Reasons The Police Did Not Detain Him

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya investigators have decided not to detain Gisella Anastasia or Gisel as a suspect in the video nasty. The police said there were two reasons for his decision.

"We didn't do the detention, why? This is the investigator's authority," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus to reporters, Friday, January 8.

The first reason, said Yusri, was that investigators considered Gisel to be cooperative during the investigation process. It is considered that Gisel will not escape and lose any evidence.

"Based on the consideration of investigators, GA and MYD are cooperative. So a conclusion can be drawn that there is no need for detention," said Yusri.

The second reason is because Gisel still has a child who is 4 years old. So, the investigators considered that Gisel was obliged to give love to his child and not be detained.

"Second, based on humanity, their children need parental guidance so that we don't arrest them," he said.

Gisel and Michael Yukinobu De Fretes (MYD) were named as suspects in the pornography video case, on December 29. Determination of the suspect after the two admitted that the cast in the video was them.

Gisel and MYD were charged under the suspicion of Article 4 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 29 and or Article 8 of Law Number 44 of 2008 concerning Pornography to suspect the two suspects.

The making of a nasty video between MYD and Gisel was done in 2017. At that time, Gisel was still the legal wife of Gading Marten. Gisel and Gading married on September 14, 2013 in Bali. The two divorced in 2019.
