JAKARTA - The government will carry out a COVID-19 vaccination program for the community starting this year until 2022. This program will be accompanied by improvements to the community data base system used in the vaccination process. Includes a system for vaccine distribution.
Community data collection is still a problem in this country. The reason is because the data on the society between institutions is different.
State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Minister Erick Thohir noted that currently the community data base is still scattered. Therefore, through the relevant ministries and agencies (K / L), the government will make improvements to the system to unify the data base.
"Alhamdulillah, this is an opportunity for us as a nation, when will we improve our systems and data base which have been scattered. This vaccination is (continued) next year, so whether we like it or not, the data will be collected openly and transparently," he said at KPK building, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Friday, January 8.
Erick explained, related to improving this data, his party through PT Bio Farma (Persero) and PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) had compiled a single data scheme used in the vaccination process.
Erick said that the one-data system infrastructure was used to organize vaccinations to be right on target. The system that is currently being built will record vaccine recipients by filtering individual data on priority vaccine recipients.
After that, a government and independent vaccine registration application will be developed by mapping the distribution of vaccines with vaccination locations. Where, all data on priority COVID-19 vaccine recipients are in the matching and integration stage with related ministries and agencies.
Through this system, said Erick, vaccine recipient participants cannot be registered in other systems. So as to minimize the possibility of duplication and can be accepted by the community with the right target.
In addition, Erick said, his party had also prepared a system to distribute the COVID-19 vaccine throughout Indonesia. Later, the movement of the vaccine will be able to be monitored from the production site to the target area.
"How from the vial, from the box to the car, all of them have a QR code and can be monitored in detail," he said.
In addition, Erick asked for assistance from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), other ministries, and regional heads so that the distribution process of this vaccine could run smoothly.
"We also want to make sure that after arriving at the derivative provinces to remote areas it can happen well, because the cold chain, because the refrigerant storage must be consistent 2-8 degrees Celsius," he said.
