KPAI Receives AG's Legal Counsel Report: We Do Supervision

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) received a report from a lawyer from witness AG, Mangata Toding Allo on Tuesday, February 28, noon. However, KPAI has not explained in detail the contents of the report.

"This morning we received a team of legal advisors from AG's son (witnesses) regarding the case experienced by AG. Complaints have been received. We have received information from AG's attorney," said KPAI Subcommand Commissioner Dian Sasmita to VOI at the KPAI Office, Menteng, Central Jakarta.

Furthermore, KPAI will carry out further processes by conducting a report review.

"The government must play a role in fulfilling children's rights. Reports contain reports of situations experienced by AG," he said.

Dian said that his party could not convey the details of the report, because it was included in the confidentiality of the reporter.

"We are only monitoring the juvenile justice system and the child's rights are running. The KPAI mandates only supervision, supervising the police and judges carrying out their duties, including their corridors related to fulfilling children's rights," he said.

Previously, a witness in the case of violence against Mario Dandy Satrio, namely Agnes Gracia (AG) through her attorney planned to visit the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) today, Tuesday, February 28. This information was conveyed directly through his attorney, Mangata Toding Allo.

As previously known, AG is still a witness in the case of violence allegedly committed by Mario Dandy Satrio (20) against the son of GP Ansor management, David (17).

"We plan to go there, mas, at 10 o'clock," said Toding in a short message, Tuesday, February 28.
