The Height Of The Water At Manggarai's Door Is Still Safe, Far Waste Below Normal

JAKARTA - The water level at the Manggarai floodgate, South Jakarta, was still monitored normally on Monday, February 27, noon. There are no signs of potential flood hazards from water shipments in the Ciliwung River. In fact, the garbage that was washed away by the flow of water in the Ciliwung River also did not build up.

Head of the Central Jakarta Working Area Implementation Unit for the Water Agency Cleanliness Management Unit (UPK), Farry Andiko, said that the conditions at the Manggarai floodgate were still at standby level 3 with a water level range of 800.

"So it's really high water, but there's not much garbage. Garbage is far below the normal range. It's just that the water is high. The water is more than 800," Farry told VOI, Monday, February 27. Harry said that the alert 3 level was still stable since last Sunday at the Manggarai floodgate, South Jakarta.

"Still from yesterday on alert 3, but the water was smooth as usual. The level of alert 3 is but alert 3 is early, it's still 800. Currently (water level) is still far (safe), there is little garbage," he said.

As is known, based on data from the DKI Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) on Sunday, February 26, the increase in Manggarai Water Gate alert status to Alert 3 (Alert), Katulampa Alert 3 Dam (Alert), Karet Siaga 3 Water Gate (Alert), Angke Hulu Siaga 3 Post (Alert) and Upper Sunter Hulu Alert 3 Post (Alert).
