50 Percent Of The Village Head In Biak Numfor Papua Has Not Left The 2022 Village Fund Financial Report

PAPUA - The Village Community Empowerment Service (DPMK) stated that 50 percent of the 257 village heads had not submitted the Village Fund Financial Report in 2022. "We still expect the village head who has not submitted the village fund financial report to be completed so that it does not affect the schedule for distributing village funds in 2023," said Head of the Biak Village Community Empowerment Service, Numfor Elkanus in Biak, Antara, Monday, February 27. He hopes that the village heads together with village assistants will work together to complete the Village Fund Financial Report in 2022. With the financial statements not yet completed, continued Elkanus, it will greatly affect the disbursement schedule in 2023. "We ask the village heads to submit the village fund financial reports and make a plan for 2023 activities so that they can speed up the process of disbursing the funds," Elkanus hoped in response to the schedule for disbursing the 2023 village funds. Elkanus emphasized that currently almost all of Indonesia in villages or villages have experienced a decline in village funds due to the national policy of the central government. Elkanus said that the Biak Numfor Regency Government, Regents and DPMK had never cut or reduced any village funds. "Yes, the village funds were immediately given by the central government through the finance ministry with a ceiling and the amount has been given nationally," he said. Elkanus said that there was information in the community because there was a reduction in village funds by the Biak Numfor Regency Government or DPMK, which was not true or a hoax. "Every village government that receives village funds is of full value because it is directly transferred to the account of the village concerned. So, I emphasize that there are no deductions or deductions," he hoped. In addition, he continued, the determination of the amount of village funds has criteria for regional area, population and level of regional difficulties. For 2023, continued Elkanus, each village will receive village funds of around Rp. 600 million to Rp. 900 million. He hopes that the village head will immediately submit a Report on the Use of the 2022 Village Fund in order to speed up the disbursement process in 257 villages. According to data in 2023, Biak Numfor Regency village funds reached approximately Rp180 billion, a decrease of approximately Rp20 billion.
