Polda Metro Jaya Orders Police In Every Neighborhood To Improve Security And Order

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya places the police in each Rukun Warga (RW) to increase security and order in the context of services to the community. "I want RWs who are accompanied by the police, because RWs are always needed by residents at all times in solving various problems in their respective regions," said Head of Polda Metro Jaya Police Inspector General Fadil Imran at the RW crowding activities in Tangerang, Saturday, February 25, as quoted by Antara. According to him, it is necessary to balance in one RW to find the roots and solutions of problems in the community. So far, he continued, RWs have a strategic role mainly related to handling COVID-19 during the peak of the pandemic. Together with RWs, when the peak of the COVID-19 outbreak, the police carry out micro-restriction policies in the community so that the transmission of COVID-19 can be suppressed. Likewise during the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination, it also involves the role of RWs. "I also express my highest appreciation to the heads of RWs, and I entrust the assigned RW police, hopefully this activity can help build the Tangerang City," he added.

Fadil Imran together with the Acting Governor of Banten Al Muktabar attended a group of 1,610 RWs throughout Tangerang City. According to the Head of the Metro Jaya Police, the harmonious crowd is a characteristic of the nation and Indonesia, one of the nations that has been in harmony with each other, which has been implemented for generations. Meanwhile, the Acting Governor of Banten Al Muktabar appreciated the RW Police program in Tangerang City. "The launch of the RW police is a new breakthrough in creating a better security situation by collaborating with the government at the RW level. Hopefully this activity creates a conducive situation in building the Tangerang City," he said.
