JAKARTA - Minister of ATR/Head of BPN, Hadi Tjahjanto inaugurated the Land Office (Kantah) building in Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan (Kaltim).

Hadi hopes that the ranks of the Kutai Kartanegara Regency Kantah can continue to improve work ethic in order to achieve the targets of the National Strategic Program (PSN) such as Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL), Land Redistribution, to handling disputes and land conflicts.

"Hopefully the performance will improve. Let's face the challenges ahead with a solid professionalism," Hadi said in his official statement, Thursday, February 23, as quoted by Antara.

Hadi assessed that improving the quality of facilities and infrastructure as well as the performance of the ranks were very much needed. Because, what must be done in the future is not getting lighter, but there are many challenges that must be faced.

The first thing that emphasizes Hadi is the matter of resolving PTSL which is accelerated until early 2025.

Furthermore, Hadi appreciated the implementation of electronic programs that had been implemented to make it easier to provide services to the community.

"Because of the four services, it can reduce 35-40 percent of the community's service density. Starting from Checks, Land Registration Certificates (SKPT), Land Value Zones (ZNT), and Mortgage Rights," said Hadi.

Hadi said that the Ministry of ATR/BPN plans to add one electronic service that is deemed very beneficial to the community, namely the transition or sale and purchase of electronics.

However, this still needs to be studied further, especially since there are still obstacles in people who have not been able to adapt using electronic systems.

"Therefore, in the regions it is necessary to provide special services for the community, who are not used to using electronics to help. If you add this one, it may be that almost 70 percent can reduce community services," said Hadi.

The Ministry of ATR/BPN has made a good contribution to the country through electronic services and land registration of 101 million plots of land. He explained that at least there were IDR 5,219 trillion circulating in the community thanks to these two things.

Furthermore, he conveyed that the Ministry of ATR/BPN is an institution that makes regulations on land and space, both above and below the ground surface. Currently, it is being processed how to regulate the spatial planning so that the value of the land economy is getting higher.

Not only that, this is in line with President Joko Widodo's directive that investment is the key, so investors should be given convenience in terms of licensing.

"Our target is 2,000 Detailed Spatial Planning (RDTR), so I ask (the local government) to make one product, namely spatial planning to invite the Head of Regional Office or Head of Kantah because it is the Regional Secretary who makes RDTR as the chairman," he said.

"RDTR and investment are so important that our job is to support investors so that they can also enter and get a red carpet in Indonesia," continued Hadi.

Kantah Kutai Kartanegara Regency was built covering an area of 1,286.04 m2 and was built on land of 2,555.00 m2 which is currently an asset of the Ministry of ATR/BPN.
