JAKARTA - The witness in the trial for alleged gratification of the Supreme Court (MA) fatwa arrangement, Rahmat is known to have introduced Prosecutor Pinangki Sirna Malasari to Joko Tjandra as a person close to the 'Prosecutor Boss'.

The disclosure of this began when the panel of judges examined Rahmat's testimony in a different trial from the Investigation Report (BAP) during the investigation process.

Chief judge Muhammad Damis initially asked Rahmat a question about Pinangki's introduction to Joko Tjandra. At that time, Rahmat said that the introduction was based on a direct request from Pinangki.

"Earlier, you (Rahmat) said that you introduced Pinangki to Joko. (Communication) via telephone ?," Judge Damis asked during the trial at the Corruption Court, Thursday, January 7.

Rahmat answered the communication with Joko Tjandra via the WhatsApp short message application. In this communication, Joko Tjandra was said to have not responded immediately. It took a day for the message from Rahmat to be answered.

"Not yet responded to at that time. The response was November 11. If Rahmat wants to go to Malaysia on the 12th," said Rahmat.

However, Haim Damis did not believe that answer. He reiterated Rahmat's answer by asking a question about the response from Joko Tjandra after the communication.

But Rahmat kept his answer. Damis also read out the contents of Rahmat's BAP when he was examined at the Attorney General's Office.

"About a week later, I called Joko Tjandra and said that Doctor Pinangki might be able to help solve the problems faced by Joko Tjandra. Apart from that, I also sent a photo of Doctor Pinangki to the defendant. At that time Joko Tjandra asked who Pianangki was, I said the prosecutor wanted I know you, "said Damis when reading the BAP

"That's not your answer," continued Damis.

In fact, in the BAP read out by Judge Damis, Rahmat was known to say that Pinangki was close to high-ranking officials at the AGO. So that it is considered to be able to help solve Joko Tjandra's problems.

"And I answered, that's someone who is close to the bosses of the AGO. Is that what you said?" asked judge Damis

Until finally, Rahmat, who could not speak much, admitted that all the contents of the BAP that were read out were the truth.

"Yes," said Rahmat.

Previously, Rahmat said Pinangki asked him to introduce Joko Tjandra. In addition, Joko Tjandra never asked him directly to help with the Bank Bali cessie problem.

"I stick to my statement because Pak Joko Tjandra has never asked me for help on a case. So I, someone who wants to meet, I give Pak Joko Tjandra," said Rahmat.

"Pak Joko Tjandra wanted to meet, yes, I just met. There was no Mr. Joko, Mr. Rahmat, to help me with legal matters. No, never," he continued.

In fact, Rahmat said that if Joko Tjandra asked him to help with the case he was experiencing, he would not appoint Pinangki. Because, there are still many great people who can help Joko Tjandra.

"If there is (request), it is impossible for me to bring Ibu Pinangki, sir," he said.
