JAKARTA The Alfamart robbery case that took place in Kramat Jati, East Jakarta was finally revealed after the East Jakarta Metro Police examined several witnesses. It turned out that the mastermind of the crime was the leader at Alfamart. East Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Budi Sartono said a total of 3 suspects were arrested.

When the incident occurred, SM as the leader in the minimarket pretended to be a victim of a robbery. In fact, SM was the one who reported the robbery to the police.

"The results of the investigation showed suspicions and irregularities. Then we dug it up and finally it was exposed. SM worked as the head of the shop, he worked for 5 years and a half," Kombes Budi told reporters, Thursday, February 23.

Meanwhile, in the action of the robbery, the suspects AM and RA, equipped with sharp weapons, launched a robbery. Both managed to make cash belonging to the minimarket amounting to Rp95 million.

"The Rp95 million in the safe was stolen by the perpetrator. The perpetrator's brain was an Alfamart employee himself and became a reporter at the police station. Suspects AM and RA were told to pretend to rob SM. The perpetrators numbered 3 people," he said.

Meanwhile, from SM's confession to the East Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation investigator, SM was determined to become the main actor in the robbery because he was in debt. The SM suspect then invited his colleagues with the initials AM and RA to take part in a robbery.

"The motive is that SM has debts, finally planning a robbery. SM is in debt due to playing online gambling," he said.

In addition to arresting 3 suspects, the police also confiscated motorbikes and 2 sharp weapons from the hands of the perpetrators. This case is still under investigation by the East Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim investigators.
