JAKARTA - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in coordination with Indonesian representatives in Turkey, has moved to seek information from local authorities to search for Ahmad Munasir Rafie Pratama (AMRP), a lecturer at the Islamic University of Indonesia (UII) Yogyakarta who reportedly lost contact.
According to the Director of Protection for Indonesian Citizens and BHI of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Judha Nugraha, all information developments obtained have been conveyed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the UII Chancellor and General Chairperson of Muhammadiyah, to then be submitted to the family.

Munasir was supposed to return February 12 via Istanbul on a Turkish Airlines flight and landed at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport on Thursday, February 16 at 18:00 WIB.
The Lecturer of Informatics at the Faculty of Informatics Engineering UII was reported to have lost contact after last communicating with his wife on Sunday afternoon (12/2) on his way home. Munasir was known to be at Oslo Airport at that time.
The Yogyakarta UII Crisis Center team has conducted a digital footprint excavation and confirmed that Ahmad Munasir has left Oslo, Norway and is in Istanbul, Turkey.
