The Doctor Who Warned The Corona Outbreak Dies Of The Virus

JAKARTA - A Chinese doctor who tried to warn the world about the corona virus (2019-nCoV / Wuhan Flu) died from the virus. The death of a doctor named Lin Wenliang saddened many parties, especially since the death rate due to the corona virus touched more than 600 people.

Li Wenliang died in the hospital where he worked. He was one of eight people who were reprimanded by the Wuhan Police in December 2019 for spreading information related to the corona virus. In time, the virus broke out and triggered a global health emergency.

Reported by Reuters on Friday, February 7, Li was forced to sign a letter on January 3 saying that he "seriously disturbed social order" and was threatened with criminal charges.

Chinese netizens portray Doctor Li as a hero. Because, Li said that the local government was incompetent in the early stages of the outbreak and made the city isolated.

"We are deeply saddened by the death of Wuhan doctor Li Wenliang ... after the rescue efforts, Li died at 2.58 am, February 7," said the ruling party's media, People's Daily, via its official Facebook account.

Chinese President Xi Jinping has previously tried to convince his citizens and the world that China will defeat the coronavirus.

"The entire country has responded with all its strength to respond with the most rigorous and stringent preventive and control measures, starting a war for epidemic prevention and control," said Xi Jinping.
