"The Chairman Of IDI Tangsel Is A Suspect In The Alleged Fictitious Project Case Worth Rp. 2.8 Billion," Said The Banten DPRD

TANGERANG - Member of the Regional House of Representatives Commission 1 of Banten Province, Sihabuddin Hasyim, spoke about the circulation of information on the determination of the suspect in the South Tangerang (Tangsel) Doctors Association (IDI), FS.

It is known that the Chairperson of IDI Tangsel was named a suspect on suspicion of a fictitious project in the medical device business amounting to IDR 2.8 billion reported by victim YR in 2021.

"With his status, does he focus on running an organization and has the potential to hinder the running of the IDI organization itself because there are already problems," said Sihabuddin in his statement, Sunday, February 19.

Sihabuddin admitted that he could not speak much about the determination of the suspect and IDI organization.

However, he assessed that the stipulation would disrupt the running of the organizational wheels.

"So we return it to the organization. But with this case, I think it will interfere with IDI itself," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the Chairman of the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) South Tangerang (Tangsel), FS, was reported to be a suspect on suspicion of a fictitious medical device (alkes) project worth Rp. 2.8 billion.

The status of this suspect is based on a notification letter on the progress of the investigation results (SP2HP) of the case, which is circulating among journalists. The 3rd SP2HP is numbered B/315/I/RES.1.11./2023/Ditreskrimum.

Based on SP2HP, it is explained the steps of police investigation in the case with the initial loss of Rp2.8 billion. Among other things, investigators examined witnesses, confiscated documents and evidence, and sent a letter of application for a permit to determine the confiscation to the South Jakarta District Court.

This case is registered with the number LP/B/3715/VIII/2021/SPKT/Polda Metro Jaya, which was reported by YR on August 3, 2021.

One of the points mentioned in the letter is the next investigation plan: conduct an examination of the suspect on behalf of dr. FS and Ir. SES,

"Yes, the report I made is correct. It's more or less like that (the determination of the suspect-ed)," YR said when confirmed, February 17.
