TANGERANG - Acting Chairperson of the Partai Persatuan Pembangunan (PPP) Mardiono reminded his cadres not to fuss over the figure of the 2024 Vice Presidential Candidate (Cawapres) later. He conveyed this in front of Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) at ICE BSD, Tangerang at the peak event of the 50th PPP Harlah

"I want to remind my friends not to be too enthusiastic and careful because in front of us there is a president," said Mardiono in his remarks at ICE BSD, Friday, February 17.

Furthermore, Mardiono explained that his party would participate in a coalition with the government. In addition, his party is always istiqomah.

"We PPP are a party in a coalition with the government. Therefore, PPP, God willing, will be istiqomah, a commitment because Islam teaches promises is debt. Where we have to fulfill the debt because of that we have to fulfill it because behind mention the vice presidential candidate. Be careful," he continued.

Previously, the United Development Party (PPP) held the peak of its 50th birthday (Harlah) at ICE BSD, South Tangerang. A number of officials have attended the halalah event.
